Designed for an experienced canoe sailor in New Jersey, Omega is to be of stitch-and-glue construction and has a single swinging leeboard and standing lugsail.  The hull is a very efficient and asymmetrical, and steering is by custom canoe paddle.  Full-size and model patterns developed.  Construction of 4.5mm plywood is planned for the fall of 2014.  Update November ’14: Construction will be traditional wood now.
